We offer a variety of counseling services for adults and adolescents including Intensive Outpatient (IOP), various options for General Outpatient (GOP) including 1-1.5 hour small group sessions and individual therapy, family engagement sessions, consultations with 3rd parties with client permission, and multiple other support options. We offer assistance with referrals for medication management or higher levels of care to include detoxification or residential/inpatient admissions. We incorporate a variety of evidence-based techniques to help clients address root causes of substance abuse and mental health challenges in a welcoming, non-judgmental, person-centered environment.
We always start with a 1-on-1 assessment which allows us the opportunity to learn about your specific circumstances, personal needs, and goals related to managing your substance use or mental health challenges. This session takes about 1.5-2 hours total and gives us the ability to recommend a continuing level of counseling or other support services that best fits your personal situation.
After the initial 1.5-2 hour assessment, ongoing counseling session length varies depending on your specific needs and preferences. There are multiple levels of care related to counseling, ranging from 45 minute to 3 hour session depending on the type of the services that you are receiving. Session frequency ranges from 1-4 times each week initially, but then decreases to the appropriate "step-down" level of support depending on each client's specific needs.
The cost of treatment varies greatly depending on which level of outpatient care you receive. We work with most major insurance carriers to have clinical treatment covered within the parameters of you health insurance policy. We also offer limited hardship assistance for client's with high out-of-pocket costs or client's without health insurance. Hardship assistance requires an application, approval based on need, and is based on availability at the time of the request. Please contact our office to inquire about your specific insurance coverage and financial needs.
We accept Tricare Humana, TennCare Wellpoint, and most other major commercial insurances. VA clients will need a referral from their Primary Care Provider before any services can be rendered. At this time, we do not accept Tenncare United, Tenncare BlueCare, or Medicare covered clients.
Yes, Encompass performs qualitative urinalysis screens for clients who are enrolled in one of our clinical treatment programs.
With a client's written consent, we will provide updates related to assessment, admission, progress, etc... to any 3rd party including probation, recovery court, community corrections, attorney, DCS, medical provider, command, or other involved entities.
We do not prescribe medication or fill current medication prescriptions onsite. We do work with your current medication management provider or assist with a referral to a new medication management provider for clients in need of ongoing prescriptions to help them manage mental health symptoms and for medications related to substance abuse.
We believe that human connection, social engagement, and live interactions are key components of an effective clinical treatment program. For these reasons, most of our sessions are in-person.
We offer some individual telehealth sessions for established clients, as well as a portion of the weekly Intensive Outpatient treatment program via telemedicine.
We understand that family members often work to find help for their loved ones who are struggling with substance abuse or mental health troubles. We will be glad to relay information about our program and options for treatment to family or friends seeking services for a loved one. However, we require that all appointments for adults age 18+ be scheduled by the participating client to allow for self-engagement in services. Minors age 14-17 must have their parent/guardian schedule the initial assessment and the parent/guardian be present for the first appointment.
