Psychological health concerns including anxiety, depression, and PTSD, as well as substance abuse challenges in active military members are often stigmatized. This can lead to the  avoidance of seeking help as well as varying degrees of isolation, which can then lead to more severe mental health and substance abuse issues.   We offer Intensive Outpatient services to active duty military participants with a referral from your Embedded Behavioral Health (EBH) and/or SUDCC provider.  We work to communicate with your base team within the parameters of your consent while providing the highest level of clinical support specific to your needs.

Veterans

Active Duty

Active Duty

There is a lot of data to support the fact that Veterans have a high rate of PTSD, depression, and substance abuse.  Finding effective ways to manage the variety of mental health and substance abuse challenges that can result from serving our country can be difficult. There are also unique challenges that soldiers face when transitioning to a civilian lifestyle.

We are experienced and dedicated to offering the highest level of assistance to our Veterans who are working to re-build the life they sacrificed

for our freedoms. We are an approved VA Community Care Provider that can offer Veterans a variety of support options.  Veterans are able to  contact the VA or their primary provider to request a referral designating Encompass as their provider choice.

Spouses/Partners

Adolescent Dependents

Adolescent Dependents

Military spouses are often under increased stress and pressures related to deployments, long work hours, periods of single parenting, frequent moves, uncertainty, loneliness, and other demands of a uniformed life.  Military spouses often learn to adapt, cope, and hide behind false resilience at the expense of their own personal well-being.  This can often lead to increased anxiety and mental health challenges, which can in turn lead to substance abuse.

Encompass provides partners of military personnel clinical treatment options and a variety of support services to improve mental health, overall well-being, sense of balance,

and social connections.

Working with the unique experiences and special needs of adolescents who grow up in military families is an area that we are passionate about at Encompass.  Typical teen challenges are often magnified in military involved teens.

Emotional, behavioral, and substance related problems often stem from struggles with decreased stability, attachment difficulties, relationship challenges, unique fears related to the military status of the parent, symptoms related to anxiety, and varying experiences that could be traumatic for the adolescent.

We strive to help our local military youth manage  emotions, feelings, and behaviors in a healthy manner that will prepare them

to better succeed now and as an adult.
